Samsung has started rolling out an April 2024 security update to 5 Samsung flagship series smartphones 5 Samsung flagship series including the Galaxy A54 5G on Verizon carrier in the US. These 5 flagship Series devices include Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy S21 FE (2022), Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Note 20, and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.

In addition to the 44 patches from Google and Samsung, the latest update includes the April patch that fixes a bundle of issues at various levels. It also provides better protection against threats, viruses and other security-related attacks to provide uninterrupted performance.

One thing to note is that the April 2024 patch does not bring any new features or innovations to the devices, but it will introduce some improvements under the system, which will protect you from external threats and viruses.
If you have not received the update notification then go to Settings app of your smartphone >> then tap on Software Update >> Press Download and Install to check it. If you have received an update, follow the on-screen instructions to install the update.
On the other hand, Samsung also confirmed that the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Flip 4, and Galaxy Tas S8 series smartphone will get One UI 6.1 update alongside Galaxy AI in early May 2024.
