Samsung has started rolling out the first One UI 6.1-based software update for its latest flagship series, the Galaxy S24. The update brings 9 major changes, features, optimizations, and latest security patches.
The fesh One UI 6.1 update aims to improve the image quality, clarity, and expressiveness of photos and videos taken with the Galaxy S24 by adding new tools and improvements. According to a community moderator, the first One UI 6.1 update comes with 9 major changes to the Galaxy S24’s gallery and camera functions.
For Galalay S24 Series:
- In high-pixel mode, brightness was adjusted when emitting light, improving image quality
- Articulation has been improved by additionally applying color data to the food mode.
- In Night Mode, colors have been improved by adjusting saturation and white balance.
- Improved image quality when zooming in on the gallery after shooting the new format DNG in the Expert RAW app.
For Galalay S24 Ultra:
- Enhanced text clarity when performing high-magnification zoom.
- The clarity and picture quality when recording the rear video has been improved.
- In the photo mode preview, the brightness and character clarity of rocks in indoor environments has been smoothly enhanced.
- Samsung has improved the fast-moving subject expression under reverse light conditions of Rear Photo mode.
- In Photo mode, the exposure and color expression of subjects (people, flowers, etc.) have been improved.
Additionally, Samsung has added a “Sharpness” option to “Screen Mode” in the display settings, so you can enjoy brighter colors.
