As the Galaxy enters the AI era, Samsung has partnered with Princeton University to pave the way for 6G innovation. 6G communications promises hyper-connectivity and better experiences for both consumers and industries.

Samsung Research America (SRA), Samsung’s leading research and development organization, has partnered with Princeton University to shape the future of 6G wireless and networking systems.

Now, Samsung Research America has become a founding member of Princeton University’s NextG Initiative corporate affiliate program to lead 6G research, making this collaboration a major force in shaping the future of 6G.

Additionally, Samsung Research America will work closely with Princeton University to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world applications for 6G – along with corporates partner such as Ericsson, Intel, MediaTek, Nokia Bell Labs, Qualcomm Technologies, and Vodafone.

According to Dr. Charlie Zhang, senior vice president of Samsung Research America, the wireless industry has benefited greatly from fundamental research over the past few decades.

At the same time, the company encourages Princeton researchers to continue developing innovative and disruptive technologies that can lead to breakthroughs in 6G.’
