The Galaxy Z Fold 5, launched in July 2023, is Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone lineup to date. Similar to the Galaxy S series, the Galaxy Z is the company’s camera-centric lineup, Galaxy consumers are expecting a major camera upgrade with the next range.
Recently, rumors surfaced that Samsung is looking to equip the Galaxy Z Fold 6 with the same 200MP primary camera as the Galaxy S24 Ultra. But a new leak paints a disappointing picture for those hoping to see a camera upgrade in Samsung’s next premium foldable.
Recently, GalaxyClub revealed some important information related to the camera specs/capabilities of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. According to the leak, the phone of the next Galaxy Z lineup will feature a slightly improved 50-megapixel primary camera like the one found on the Z Fold 5.
In addition to the 50MP sensor, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 camera specs include a using the same 12MP ultra-wide, 10MP cover display front camera, and 4MP under-display camera.
Earlier this month, SafetyKorea (via SamMobile) certified a new battery manufactured by ITM Semiconductor Vietnam. The model number – EB-BF957ABY-L indicates that the battery cell is designed to be used in Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphone.
