The foldable phones are currently running on Android 14-based One UI 6.0 and will likely get a One UI 6.1 update in the next few months. Meanwhile, the company has released a new security update for the factory-unlocked variants of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 in the US.

Notably, last week, Samsung released the February 2024 security update, starting with the Galaxy Z Fold 3. A few days later, the update was released for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in the US, but only for the carrier-locked variants, and now the new security update is for the factory-unlocked variants.

Samsung is sending the latest software updates to your Galaxy phones with system security improvements to keep your files and data safe. This patch also optimizes system stability to provide smooth and uninterrupted functionality on your Galaxy phone.

Furthermore, the latest update improves system security and stability by fixing over 75 issues. Additionally, it enhances certain functions of the device to provide a better experience.

User of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is grabbing the February 2024 security update with One UI F936U1UES4EXAD on Metro PCS and T-Mobile networks and Galaxy Z Fold 3 getting firmware version with F926U1TBS5HXAF on Comcast and Tracfone networks in the US.
