Samsung is considering launching a sixth-generation flagship version of its fold phone later this year. Now, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is rumored to be unveiled in five months, so we can expect it to arrive in July or August 2024. This news has spread a wave of excitement as users are eagerly waiting for the next foldable phone.
According to well-known tipster @TheGalox_, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be thinner, wider, lighter, faster, more repairable, and longer-lasting than its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 5. Additionally, Samsung may unveil it in five months. Just like the Galaxy Z Fold 5, the phone could be launched in July 2024 with some upgrades and specifications.
Initial reports suggest that Samsung is currently testing a 50-megapixel primary camera found on the Z Fold 5. The Korean tech company may still switch to a 200MP camera in the development cycle, but not yet.
Additionally, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will come with significant upgrades like better battery repairability. But the camera of the upcoming phone may disappoint the users, however, the renders also show a slim and wide design concept.
More details about the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will start appearing online in the coming months and weeks, although we’re keeping our expectations under wraps when it comes to major hardware or software upgrades, and we’d like to see Samsung switch to a cover display. It’s just as small and tight, but it remains to be seen if our wishes will be fulfilled.
