Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy M33 5G, following the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 last year. The mid-range phone launched in 2022 is now getting the February 2024 security update in the Indian market. We hope other countries will get the update in the next few weeks.
According to the information, the new update includes the February 2024 security patch for the Galaxy M33 that fixes more than 70 security vulnerabilities found in Galaxy phones and tablets. But, it does not bring any new features or performance improvements.
Its main purpose is to enhance the system security of the device by incorporating the latest Android security measures. Additionally, the update addresses various bugs and stability optimizations, leading to an improved overall user experience.
The latest February 2024 update for the Galaxy M33 5G comes with firmware version M335BUXXS6DXB1 and an installation package size of 230.02MB.

If you have a Galaxy M33 5G and live in India, you can now check for the new update by navigating to Settings > Software update and tapping Download and install.
Samsung launched the Galaxy M33 in 2022 with Android 12 out of the box. The mid-range smartphone received Android 13 update in 2022 and Android 14 update in 2023. The Android 14-based One UI 6.1 update is expected to arrive sometime later this year.
