First Galaxy S24 software update goes live in more countries

Following the release in Korea, Samsung has started rolling out the February 2024 First update for the Galaxy S24 series in Europe, Poland, Canada, and the US. The update has been released to improve the user experience with notable camera and display improvements. In US, this update is being released for locked models and the company will soon make it available for unlocked models also.

The first update for Galaxy S24 is rolling out in Europe and the US countries with firmware version S92xBXXU1AXB5 and S92xUSQU1AXB7 and a download size of around 700MB

This update is important, as it addresses some of the issues Galaxy S24 customers are experiencing with the out-of-the-box experience. According to the changelog, the new update introduces a ‘Display Vividness’ feature, which lets users customize the intensity. Screen color as per their choice.

With this update, the Korean tech giant has also made several improvements to the camera experience. Image quality is now better when capturing scenes with a bright light source behind the subject, and exposure has been improved when shooting indoors. Additionally, photos shot in Night mode now have better white balance and saturation, and Food mode photos look more attractive due to improved colors.

Last and most importantly, it includes the February 2024 security patch that improves system security and stability, protecting users from potential threats. To download the update on your Galaxy S24 series phone, open the Settings app, select Software Update and tap Download and Install if the update is available.
