One UI 6.1 testing underway for the Galaxy M33

Samsung released Android 14 update for Galaxy M33 last year with many new features and improvements. Also, the device recently received the February 2024 security update and now Samsung has started internal testing of One UI 6.1 for the Galaxy M33 5G smartphone.

In 2022, the Korean tech giant launched the Galaxy M33 in India running Android 12 out of the box and will get the Android 13 update later that year. Also, according to the report, the phone received the One UI 6.0 update last year and will receive One UI 6.1 in the coming months.

According to reliable tipster @tarunwatts, the Galaxy M33 5G has been spotted running a test build of One UI 6.1 on a Samsung test server. The test build comes with One UI firmware version EXB3 and ends with the CSC codes EUX and INS, indicating that testing is underway for the Galaxy M33 5G in India and Europe.

Based on Android 14, the UI 6.1 update will bring some new features and improvements to the Galaxy M33, like better camera performance, better privacy controls, and more to deliver the latest and next level experience. This last and big update for Galaxy M33 smartphone will be released in April or later.

Powered by a 5nm octa-core processor, the Galaxy M33 5G features a large 6000mAh battery and a 120Hz FHD+ display and a 50MP quad rear camera for a richer experience.

For your information, the Korean tech giant is also testing One UI 6.1 on many other Galaxy devices including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold5/Flip5, Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy A73, Galaxy A53, Galaxy A52s, etc. The company will officially start rolling out the One UI 6.1 update to flagship devices late next month.
