OnePlus Ace 3V tipped to power an unreleased Snapdragon SoC

OnePlus made a strong presence in the Chinese market last year with its Ace-branded phones. Now, this trend will continue with the upcoming OnePlus Ace 3V and Ace 3 Pro. The Chinese tech giant is planning to launch the OnePlus Ace 3V in China soon. Recently, Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster on Weibo, has revealed the key specifications of the OnePlus Ace 3V device.

OnePlus Ace 3V Specifications

The OnePlus Ace 3V smartphone is said to be launched under the OnePlus Nord series with the moniker Nord 5 or Nord 4 in the Indian and global markets. According to the leakster, the OnePlus Ace 3V will have a flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, and may also have an optical fingerprint scanner.

Furthermore, the upcoming OnePlus phone is reported to be powered by a chipset with the codename SM7675. The Qualcomm chipset is reportedly the upcoming Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC. The upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen series chipset is likely to deliver similar performance to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen series chipset.

According to the report, the processor will feature an octa-core architecture, which will include a Cortex X4 core clocked at 2.9GHz, similar to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The other cores are likely to be four Cortex A720 cores clocked at 2.6GHz, three Cortex A520 cores clocked at 1.9GHz and an Adreno 732 GPU.

According to DCS, similar to the OnePlus 12R, the phone will come with a 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging, which is the largest battery ever on a OnePlus phone and should deliver great battery life, with 8-9 hours of continuous screen on time. Additionally, we believe that the Ace 3V may be available with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
