Earlier this month, Samsung released the February 2024 security update to the Galaxy A54, but that release was limited to Europe. The company has now released the February 2024 security update to the Galaxy A54 5G in India.
The update started rolling out in India recently and comes with firmware version A546EXXS6BXAE and need to install a package of around 241.80 megabytes. Like February updates for other Samsung phones, the one released for the Galaxy A54 only brings security fixes and some common improvements.
According to SMR, the February 2024 security maintenance release notes resolutions to more than 80 vulnerability risks, including 79 CVE items, of which 3 are ranked critical and 76 are rated high. Whereas, the Samsung patch contains 8 SVE items, which are specific to Galaxy devices and applications.
If you live in India and are using Galaxy A54 5G, check for the latest patch and install it manually to enjoy better explanations. To check for updates, you just need to go to the device’s Settings, then Software Update and Download and Install.
On the other hand, the Korean tech giant is preparing to launch the successor to the Galaxy A54 5G and the upcoming Galaxy A55 5G is expected to come with some advanced software and hardware capabilities.
