Earlier, OnLeaks via SmartPrix had shared renders of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 which showed very minor changes in the design, with some minor improvements in the overall design. Now, Samsung is working on an “Ultra” variant model instead of the budget one, which may cost more with better features.
Over the past few months, we have heard rumors that the Korean tech giant was working on a secondary model to accompany the Galaxy Z Fold 6 at launch. That model was supposed to be a budget model, considering that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 would be so expensive at first. However, it seems like the opposite may be true, where Samsung is actually making an Ultra version of the Fold 6, in the same way that the S24 series offers a larger and more expensive Ultra model.
According to new information from WinFuture, MWC in Barcelona has proven to offer not only solid new products but also rumors and details about Samsung’s future plans for the Fold line. New information indicates that Samsung will offer an affordable alternative to the high-end foldable Galaxy Z Fold 6. Rather, the Fold 6 will not be budget.
The new Galaxy Z Fold 6 variant may not have the “Ultra” moniker, but it may include physical modifications such as the S Pen, whether included in the silo or not, and higher specifications. If this rumor is current, the standard Fold 6 may not support S Pen support as an exterior accessory.
