OnePlus 8 series gets February 2024 security update

OnePlus is rolling out a new OxygenOS update for OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro devices in India, which brings fixes and improvements to the February 2024 firmware. On the other hand, OnePlus is preparing to launch its upcoming OnePlus 13 in October 2024.

Let us tell you, this brand new February 2024 update does not bring any new features, but it will work as a booster dose for your OnePlus device and provide an optimized experience. The latest security update also fixes any bugs or glitches found in the system, reducing the risk of system crashes and data loss.

Additionally, the February 2024 update for the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro 5G comes with build versions IN2011_13.1.0.586(EX01) and IN2021_13.1.0.586(EX01). Additionally, its improvements are collected in a package of approximately 500MB, therefore, it is advised to maintain sufficient storage and use a stable Wi-Fi connection.
