Last year, Google Messages announced seven new features to enhance the user experience, including Photomoji, Voice Mood, Reaction Effects, Custom Bubbles, and more. Now, Google has rolled out a new update for Google Messages that brings emoji Reaction effects.
According to the information, these new Google Messages emoji reaction effects include 10 popular emoji characters such as 👍 — Thumbs Up, ❤️ — Red Hear, 😂 — Face with Tears of Joy, 😮 — Face with Open Mouth, 😡 — Enraged Face, 👎 — Thumbs Down, 💩 — Pile of Poo, 🎉 — Party Popper, 😠 — Angry Face, and 😢 — Crying Face.
To use emoji reaction effects, simply long-press on a message – SMS or RCS – and select Thumbs Up, “the magic instantly appears as an animated trio of hands dancing around the message bubble ” Google says it’s “designed to add a dynamic twist to your chats.”
In recent weeks, Reaction Effects launched with the Google Messages beta update and is now available in the stable version of Google Messages on the Google Play Store. On the other hand, it joins the wider availability of animated emojis, while Photomoji began rolling out widely in late January. Screen effects are also fixed, but only for two animations.
