Samsung Galaxy A35 5G gets first firmware update in India 

Samsung announced two new A series phones on March 11, 2024, and now, less than a week after its launch, the Galaxy A35 5G has started collecting its first firmware update. Yes, smartphone sales aren’t live in all countries yet, but Samsung has made general improvements to the phone.

As per the details, the first software update for the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G comes with One UI build version A356XXU1AXBB and it brings the February 2024 Android security patch. Notably, the changelog of the patch does not mention any important features or major modifications to the system.

This February 2024 security patch will fix over 80 vulnerability exposures from Google and Samsung to maintain device reliability. It also provides better defense against harmful threats, viruses, and other security-related attacks, resulting in a covered and more secure understanding of the system.

As a result, the update is currently only available in India and will soon be expanded to more regions, where the phone is available for pre-order but is not yet available for offline purchase. So, if you have pre-ordered the Galaxy A35 5G for yourself in India, you will start receiving its deliveries from March 18, and you can install the update first after receiving it.

Notably, the Galaxy A35, the Galaxy A55, is the first mid-range Samsung phone to run Android 14 and One UI 6.1 onboard. It’s eligible for four major OS upgrades and five years of security updates, and the software support for the phone is a good start.
