Samsung is rolling out a new update for Galaxy A22 4G devices in March 2024, which brings some general improvements and bug fixes along with the February 2024 security patch to provide users with an optimized experience. Notably, this is an initial rollout and the update is currently available in India, however, it will expand to more users soon.
As per the details, owners of Samsung Galaxy A22 4G models in the US will be able to receive the identified new One UI update in March 2024 through One UI build version A225FXXS8DXB1.
Furthermore, the security patch carries an installation package of 194.12MB, but it doesn’t contain any new features or major changes, Instead, the patch will work on the core functioning of the flagship models and resolve some common vulnerabilities and exposures, to provide users more protected, secured and optimized experience.
Also, the update is rolling out slowly, so it may take some time to cover all eligible units. If you are operating the Galaxy A22 4G in India then you can manually check for the latest update via Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
