Samsung has always been at the forefront when it comes to providing the best software experience for Galaxy devices. In January 2024, the company introduced One UI 6.1 with the Galaxy S24 series. Meanwhile, Samsung has also started working on One UI 6.1.1, now a recent report claims that the development of One UI 6.1.1 is in progress as the new build has been spotted for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.

For those who don’t know about the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, these are the sixth-generation foldable phones that are expected to come with Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1. For this, Samsung has started testing new software.

According to tipster @theonecid, the new One UI 6.1.1 build spotted for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 introduces build versions F956USQU0AXC3 and F741USQU0AXC3 respectively. Additionally, these builds also suggest that testing of sixth-generation units is ongoing in the US.

One UI 6.1.1 based on Android 14 is expected to bring new security features, performance improvements, new elements, customization options, and more especially for larger screen devices. One of the essential features of One UI 6.1.1 will be the vertical app drawer for a customized experience.

upcoming version One UI 6.x.x will be launched alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July this year. Based on Android 14, One UI 6.1.1 will also be available for other Galaxy foldable and tablet devices running One UI 6.1.
