Galaxy A53 starts getting the March 2024 update

Samsung started rolling out the March 2024 security patch three weeks ago. So far, the Korean tech giant has updated a handful of devices, including foldable, high-end Galaxy S phones and Fan Edition models. Now, the March 2024 update is available for the Galaxy A53 5G.

The March 2024 update for Galaxy A53 5G has arrived with One UI build version A536NKSS4DXC1 and to enjoy the offerings of the latest patch users will need to download a 257.43MB package.

Looking at the firmware improvements, the update improves security but does not add any new features to the Galaxy A53. However, the good news is that the phone has been running on Android 14 and One UI 6.0 in South Korea since last year.

Notably, the March 2024 firmware is rolling out in Korea, and Samsung may soon release the March 2024 update for the Galaxy A53 in other markets. If you prefer a manual update, you can install the update on your phone through the Settings app by accessing Software Update and tapping Download and Install.

Galaxy A53 5G One UI 6.1

Samsung launched Galaxy A53 5G with Android 12 in March 2022. Later in 2022, the company released Android 13, and in 2023, it offered Android 14 in the device. Soon, the Korean tech giant will start rolling out One UI 6.1 on the phone in April or May, and it is also eligible to receive Android 15 later this year.
