Galaxy S23 may receive One UI 6.1 on March 28

We’re in mid-March 2024, and Samsung previously announced that the One UI 6.1 update for its older flagship models, including the Galaxy S23 series, is scheduled to be released by the end of this month. In recent months, devices already seen on Samsung text work with One UI 6.1. This update is expected to arrive soon, as suggested by the recent leak of the new One UI 6.1 release date for the Galaxy S23.

The One UI 6.1 release date for the Galaxy S23 series has been spotted by a tipster @chunvn8888 (via SamMobile). According to the leak, Samsung Vietnam has reportedly revealed that the Galaxy S23 series will get One UI 6.1 from March 28.

We believe this date is for Vietnam, not when the update will be released globally, and some markets may receive it slightly earlier or later. Last week, a new One UI 6.1 build for the Galaxy S23 appeared on test servers in India, Korea, and the UAE. As we are in mid-March, Galaxy S23 users are advised to keep an eye on the software updates section, as the company may release an update at any time.

Apart from the Galaxy S23 lineup, Samsung is committed to releasing the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Fold 5, Galaxy Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series simultaneously. Users can also use the innovative features of ‘Galaxy AI’ with One UI 6.1 update in the above-mentioned flagship models, such as real-time interpretation, chat assistance, circle for search, note assistance, and creative editing.
