Galaxy S23 FE One UI 6.1 update to be released by the end of March

Samsung has released the One UI 6.1 update for eligible devices and there is only a week left for the update to be released to users around the world. Samsung hasn’t confirmed the exact date when this update will be released, but it has at least provided some information that will let us know when the rollout will begin. Now, new news claims that the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone may get a One UI 6.1 update next week.

Even though One UI 6.1 is a modest One UI software, it is unique in that it brings many Galaxy AI features that were introduced in earlier devices this year with the Galaxy S24 series. The Galaxy S23 FE is one such device, between the Galaxy S23, Galaxy Fold 5, Galaxy Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9, and it is scheduled to receive the update later this month.

According to tipster @tarunvats33, the official notice suggests that the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, S23 Ultra, and S23 FE smartphones will receive the update in Korea in late March. Furthermore, he also revealed that the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S23 series could be released this week, while Galaxy S23 FE users can enjoy it next week.

We’ll likely see this update roll out in the next few weeks. So it’s a good time to prepare your phone for One UI 6.1 software. If you’re unsure whether your Galaxy device is eligible for this update, check its compatibility against the One UI 6.1 eligibility list.
