Galaxy A73 receives March 2024 security update in Malaysia [India too]

Samsung has rolled out a March 2024 security update to Galaxy A73 models in India. Users can identify the update through the One UI build version G990EXXS7FXC2 and an installation package of 237.24MB.

Several other high-end and mid-range Galaxy S, Galaxy Z, Galaxy A, Galaxy M, and Galaxy F phones have already received the latest monthly security update. Now, the Korean tech giant has extended this March 2024 security update to Galaxy A73 smartphone users in Malaysia.

According to Samsung’s security bulletin, the March 2024 security update fixes approximately 45 security flaws discovered in previous software versions, including 2 critical to the Android operating system, 35 high-level CVEs, and 9 SVE items from Samsung One UI.

Additionally, fresh updates work on the core functionality of your Galaxy phone and enhance system security, ensuring that confidential data and sensitive information remain safe. Additionally, the patch also reduces the risk of system crashes and data loss.

Galaxy A73 handset owners can identify the monthly security update released in March 2024 with build version A736BXXS6DXC3. This fresh update for the Galaxy A73 is being released in batches via OTA method and may take some time to reach all users. However, you can manually check for upgrades via System Settings > Software Upgrade

Galaxy A73 5G smartphone customers are currently enjoying the features and customizations of the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update. The phone is likely to get new features with the upcoming One UI 6.1 update. The update is expected to be released before the end of the first half of this year.
