Samsung is expanding the reach of the March 2024 security patch for the Galaxy A54. A few days ago, the update was released to the Galaxy A54 in the US. Now, the update has been released to more users in the Philippines at the moment and will expand to more regional users soon.
The March 2024 patch is making its way to the Galaxy A54, Samsung’s premium mid-ranger that launched last year. Several other Galaxy A, Galaxy S, and Galaxy Z series phones have already received the latest security update over the past few weeks.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A54 5G, which includes the March 2024 security patch, is now available in the Philippines. It comes bearing firmware version A546EXXS6BXC1 and has a download size of 235.24MB.
This One UI software brings the March 2024 security patch, which fixes over 44 security vulnerabilities found in previous software versions. This includes 2 critical, 35 high-level CVEs for the Android operating system, and 9 SVEs related to app lock, bootloader, certain services, and Samsung One UI.
No new features have been introduced in Galaxy A54. For new features, you’ll have to wait for the One UI 6.1 update, which will likely arrive in late Q3.
If you have a Galaxy A54 5G and live in Philippines, you can install the new update right now. If you don’t live in Philippines, you can check for the new update by opening the Settings app, navigating to Software Update, and tapping Download and Install.
