Samsung launched its AI4-based 3D Map View feature, which was previously limited to Korea and the United States, at CES 2024 last year, and is now available in all countries with SmartThings access.
Map View streamlines home management by diverting real floor plans into virtual images or 3D images in the SmartThings app with AI capability. Users can see their devices clearly and easily adjust lighting, temperature, air quality, and energy consumption at any time and location.
3D map visualization can be accomplished automatically using Samsung home devices with LiDAR sensors, such as the Bespoke Jet Bot. The new version of the SmartThings app is now available for Android, iOS, and Tizen-based smart TVs.
Additionally, this feature will also be available on Family Hub series refrigerators before the end of the first half of this year. Now, users can more easily understand the size and spatial location of their homes on 3D maps.
Furthermore, the Korean tech giant is continuously working to enable customers to control their home devices without any inconvenience at any time and place and Map View is the result of these efforts. Additionally, the company also ensures that it will continue to introduce various relevant services and features so that customers can enjoy optimal smart home experiences with a better life.
