Samsung has released the March 2024 security update for the Snapdragon Galaxy S21 FE in India. The company had earlier released the update for the Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy S23 FE in some countries. This update brings general fixes and improvements to boost the overall user experience.
The March 2024 security update for the Galaxy S23 FE in India comes with firmware version G990B2XXS5FXC1 and package 302.63 approx. This update is available on Snapdragon variants and the company will soon extend it to Exynos models.
However, this patch is already available for Galaxy S21 FE users in the US. Plus, it could get the new update in other countries and regions within the next few days.
The update is relatively small and does not bring any performance improvements or new features. The FE variant phones are likely to get more features with the One UI 6.1 update released in the next few months after the Galaxy S22 series.
