Android 14 update rolling out to Galaxy Tab A7 Lite in the US

One UI 6.1 debuted on the Galaxy S24 series in January 2024 and Samsung confirmed that the update is coming to some high-end phones this month. Meanwhile, the Korean tech giant has released the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update to the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. This is the third major Android update to Samsung’s cheapest tablet, and it was launched way back in 2021.

The Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update has arrived for carrier-locked models of the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite on the Verizon network in the US. Notably, this update has already been rolled out in South Korea and we expect the update to be rolled out in other countries as well in the next few weeks.

The update comes with firmware version T227USQU8DXB4 and installs the December 2023 Android security update instead of the latest March 2024 security update. Let us tell you that this new software brings a bundle of new features, functions, and customization choices to optimize the Galaxy user experience.

If you have a Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and you live in the US, you can check for the new update by opening the Settings app. Navigate to Software Update >> Download and Install.
