More Galaxy A73 5G owners can now get March 2024 update

Galaxy A73 March 2024 patch

The latest March 2024 security patch is reaching more Galaxy A73 5G owners, following the initial rollout that began last week in Malaysia, India, and a few other markets.

The update appears to be rolling out to Pakistan and Brazil, and more countries will roll out soon in the coming days. The Galaxy A73 5G March 2024 patch can be identified by the firmware version A736BXXS6DXC1 in Brazil and in Pakistan by A736BXXS6DXC5.

This update brings the March 2024 security patch, which fixes over 40 security vulnerabilities found in the previous firmware on both phones. That’s all it has to offer, but Galaxy A73 5G owners can expect a major update in a few weeks that will bring version One UI 6.1.

The Galaxy A73 5G is also eligible for the Android 15 and One UI 7 update that will become official in the second half of the year. And that update may even be more exciting because One UI 6.1 for Samsung’s mid-range phones won’t bring any of the AI features from the Galaxy S24.

The One UI 6.1 software version based on Android 14 is expected to bring a bundle of improvements and optimizations to make device interpretation intuitive and provide users with a customized experience.

As always, you can install the latest update on your phone by going to Settings > Software Update menu and selecting the Download and Install option.
