Now, the company rolling out a new Chrome version with AI features to be fast and secure across all your devices — from your phone to your Windows PC (desktop computer).
According to the information, Google is gradually releasing this new version of Chrome this week. Plus full version of Chrome will be available for download on Arm-compatible Windows PCs powered by Snapdragon with AI features. With this new release, Chrome will be fully optimized for your PC’s hardware and operating system to make web browsing faster and easier. Plus, the company always improving it to support the latest platforms.
As per benchmark testing, the company expects Chrome to get an even bigger boost in performance with Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon X Elite.
“The new version of Google Chrome will help cement Snapdragon X Elite’s role as the premier platform for Windows computing starting in mid 2024.” said Cristiano Amon, President and CEO, Qualcomm Inc.

How to turn on these generative AI features
- Firstly, sign in to Chrome
- Select “Settings” from the three-dot menu
- Navigate to the “Experimental AI” page.
- There, you’ll see the option to enable “Help me write”.
- Once you’ve enabled it, you’re all set: just right-click on an open text field within Chrome and choose “Help me write” to get begun.
