Last month, Samsung launched its two new affordable phones. Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G devices come with a variety of features and capabilities such as better cameras, better security, intuitive designs, long term software updates support.
Some of the key details of the Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G include a larger 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Vision Booster to deliver seamless viewing. The devices offer a 5,000mAh battery and come pre-installed on Android 14-based One UI 6.1.
In terms of optics, the Galaxy A55 sports a triple camera setup that houses a 50MP main camera, a 2MP ultra-wide, and a 5MP macro lens. Whereas, the Galaxy A35 also offers three camera sensors including 50MP, 8MP, and 5MP for the best photography experience.
Coming to the topic, on the basis of software updates support, it can be said that Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G smartphone users may be disappointed, who are expecting upgraded software update support for the phone.
The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A33 5G are coming with significant improvements, but they will get the same care as last year’s Galaxy A54 and A53 in terms of software support. Hence, both affordable phones will be eligible for four years of Android OS updates and five years of security patches.
Both the Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G devices come pre-installed with Android 14 and will receive upgrades to Android versions 15, 16, 17, and 18. Security patches for devices will continue to be released until 2029.
