Galaxy M55 to launch next week with 45W charging and 50MP selfie camera

On April 08, 2024, Samsung added two new members to the M lineup, and now the official specifications of the Galaxy M55 5G and Galaxy M15 5G have also been revealed. This information will give users a glimpse of the key details of these newly released devices, so let’s take a deeper look. Of these, the Galaxy M55 is the first mid-range Samsung phone to support 45W charging and a 50MP selfie camera.

Samsung Galaxy M55 smartphone will come with a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and full HD resolution. It will be equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and runs on One UI 6.1, based on Android 14, ensuring a seamless interface.

This smartphone will be available in several configurations, including up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and comes in two colors – Light Green and Denim black.

The Galaxy A55 will use a triple-camera system with a 50MP OIS main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. A 50MP front camera is available for selfies. It will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging capability.

The 5,000 mAh battery of the Samsung Galaxy M55 can be charged up to 70% in just 30 minutes with a 45W charger. The Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 also have 5,000mAh battery capacities, but a half-hour charge takes them down to 40% and 30% respectively as they charge at 25W. On the flip side, the Galaxy M15 will pack a 6,000mAh batter with 25W fast charging similar to the Galaxy S24.
