One UI 6.1 update will fix AOD issue for Galaxy S22

Samsungā€˜s One UI 6.0 has brought many new features and enhancements to make the Galaxy S22 devices more useful and work faster. However, some users have noticed a bug on the Wonderland app that was causing the AOD to show up full screen on their Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphone that was not equipped to support this feature. Meanwhile, Samsung is preparing to release the One UI 6.1 update for its Galaxy S22 series and promises to fix a strange bug affecting the AOD feature.

According to the report, the Korean tech giant is expected to roll out One UI 6.1 for its Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Z Flip 4 devices on April 10th in Canada. Plus, the Galaxy A54 also get this major update in in coming weeks.

According to a moderator of the Good Lock community, a strange bug is affecting the AOD feature on some Galaxy S22 devices. Samsung is aware of this issue and will fix it in the One UI 6.1 update. However, the exact release date of the major update is not confirmed yet, as it may vary depending on various factors.

Samsung started releasing the One UI 6.1 update only last month. So far, 2023 flagship smartphones like the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series have received this update. The company is actively working to make this update available to all eligible devices immediately.
