The Android Auto app integrates with various messaging applications including Google Messages, WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, and others, and allows drivers to manage their messages through voice commands.

This feature allows Android Auto users to seamlessly send or reply to all messages coming from these apps with the help of Google Assistant. However, many users have reported that their Android Auto no longer replies or sends new messages via WhatsApp.

According to information obtained via 9to5Google, several users have reported that they can no longer respond to messages or send new messages through WhatsApp on Android Auto. The issue seems to have started last week, and now, it is affecting many Android Auto users and is surfacing on Google’s forums and platforms like Reddit.

Google has not yet made any notification regarding this issue or provided any timeline for when it will be resolved. For now, users can still send messages using their smartphones, but it is not recommended while driving. Hopefully, Google will soon acknowledge the issue and fix the solution.
