Home Up Vertical App Drawer to launch with One UI 7.0/Android 15

Google started the Android 15 conversation by releasing the first developer preview of the next version of the operating system on February 17. On the other hand, Samsung is also preparing to release the Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 iteration with the Galaxy Z Fold. 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. Meanwhile, a report confirmed that Samsung will bring a Home Up vertical app drawer with One UI 7.0 based on Android 15.

According to the community moderator, the vertical app drawer feature of the Samsung Home Up Good Lock module is currently in development for the next OS version. That is, Android 15-based One UI 7.0. However, the moderator has not made any further confirmation about what it comes with.

This upcoming feature will let users scroll through apps vertically instead of horizontally, making it easier to access and organize apps, especially on devices with larger screens. Let us tell you, App Drawer is a tool that is available in every smartphone and shows all the applications installed on the Galaxy device.

However, Samsung is expected to bring One UI 7.0 in August and the Galaxy S24 will be the first device to test it. the upcoming One UI version will then be released for more Galaxy devices in the future and the vertical app drawer will be brought back to provide users with a more customized and substantial experience.
