Now, based on comments made in a recent Made by Google podcast episode, Circle to Search may soon be getting a major upgrade. Circle to Search team said, “We still have further to go, and we’re working a lot on making sure it’s triggered when you want, [and] it’s not triggered when you don’t want.”

Circle to Search (CtS), is a feature that allows you to search anything by drawing a circle around the screen. Currently, you can access this feature by long pressing the home button or navigation handle.

During the podcast, the team behind Circle to Search revealed that activating the CTS by accidental touch was quite easy as it is located on the same gesture bar or home button that users use for other purposes most of the time.

In this respect, the team assured that Google is working on a solution to prevent Circle to Search from being accidentally activated; Unfortunately, there are no details on when Google will make the improvements.
