Samsung brings Samsung Wallet Mobile ID support to the Galaxy S22, Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Galaxy Z Fold 3 with the April 2024 security patch in South Korea. This update comes with some new changes as well as enhancements to the overall security of the device.

Users who own the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 in South Korea can identify the latest update by the firmware version number, F721NKSU2EXD2 and F936NKSU2EXD2 respectively. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is getting a new update with the different version number F926NKSU2HXD2. On the other hand, the Galaxy S22 series is receiving an update on firmware version S90xNKSU3DXD3.
With the April 2024 update, Samsung Wallet now supports ‘Mobile ID’, which lets users verify their mobile driver’s license and government-issued National Veterans Registration Card anywhere online or offline, just like a real ID.
Along with Samsung Wallet ‘Mobile ID’, Samsung has introduced some new security enhancements that will improve the overall mechanism of the devices. The April 2024 update comes with more than 40 fixes, which includes Google has introduced 27 fixes and Samsung has included 17 fixes for Galaxy devices exclusively.
To install the update, users will have to download a 500MB package. To install the update, you need to navigate to Settings >> Software Update >> Download and Install.
