An unexpected new Samsung One UI update is being rolled out to some Galaxy phones with advanced 4G LTE TDD band support in Europe. This is a region-specific update and aims to improve the network for a better Galaxy user experience.

Samsung 4G LTE TDD band
Enhanced 4G LTE TDD band support in Europe is currently available for more than a dozen Samsung devices. Notably, it appears that this update is only for European users and is related to 4G network compatibility. According to the changelog, “Support for regional 4G TDD frequency band types has been updated.”
The regional 4G LTE TDD band support for Galaxy devices to provide better network performance in various European countries.
Samsung also notes that Galaxy device models bought in Germany will not be able to use 4G networks on TDD (time division duplexing) frequency bands in Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic.
