Last month, Realme released the Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 initial update for Realme GT 5G smartphone users, and now it has started sending the Realme UI 5.0 open beta update for the corresponding devices.

This rollout comes after the company recently started registering open beta. As of now, the Chinese tech giant has released the Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 update for multiple eligible devices across different markets.
On the other hand, the company is currently planning to release an Android 15 Developer Preview update for its latest flagship smartphone users, which is expected to launch next month. Meanwhile, we can expect the company to release the stable version of Realme UI 6.0 later this year.
Coming to the topic, this is a beta program that allows our Realme GT 5G fans to experience all the new features of Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 for the first time. Additionally, this major update brings a number of new features and improvements that aim to improve the user experience of the phone.
For example, users enjoy new elements like Fluid Cloud, smart cutouts, improved shelves, and photo and video-related permission management, carbon tracking AOD, and more.
Initially, this Realme UI 5.0 beta firmware is currently being released in India. After that, it will be gradually rolled out to more users and regions over a few days. Additionally, the Android 13 open beta application for the device is already open from April 22, 2024, and can be accepted in batches. Also, you can identify this latest update by Realme UI RMX2202_14.0.0.83 build number.
On the other hand, the update may introduce some bugs, and some apps may not work properly with the new features in Android 14. Therefore, you should not install the Realme UI 5.0 Open Beta software update on your daily phones.
