Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphones in Korea. The update comes with Galaxy AI as well as a number of new features and enhancements to make the 2022 flagship phone smarter. While the 2021 flagship Galaxy devices have new features and only a few Galaxy AI features.

Currently, Samsung One UI 6.1 update is available for Galaxy users in Korea and the company will expand it in the coming days. Users can identify this update through the software version number given below.

One UI 6.1 features

As for the 2022 Galaxy flagship smartphones, the major update enhances Galaxy devices with new AI capabilities, improving user experience and performance. All these devices bring all the same AI features as the Galaxy S23 FE. Galaxy AI features include Circle to Search with Google, Live Translation, Generative Edit, Note Assist, Transcript Script Chat Assist, and more.

For 2021 Galaxy flagship devices, the One UI 6.1 update brings a number of new features to deliver a better user experience. One Galaxoo AI feature is Google’s Circle Two Search, which allows users to find information directly from their screen without having to switch between apps.

To use CTS, users can press and hold the Home button or navigation handle and draw a circle around the selected text or image. This action will immediately start a Google search for information regarding the products.

To manually check for One UI software updates, go to your Galaxy phone’s Settings. At the bottom you will see the Software Update section, just open it. If your Galaxy fetches a new OTA then inside the submenu you have to press the Download and Install button.
