Pixel 8a launched with 6 Google AI features

  • Best Take: The best Take allows you to create the group shot you want. Choose from a series of photos the one you think best describes them all.
  • Magic Editor: The magic editor using generative AI lets you use presets to reposition and resize subjects or make backgrounds pop – all with just a few taps.
  • Gemini: The Gemini-based AI assistant allows you to type on the go, talk, and add images for all kinds of help – from brainstorming ideas, writing notes or even planning your next holiday.
  • Circle to Search: This allows users to find information directly from their screen without switching between apps by pressing and holding the home button or navigation handle and drawing a circle around the desired text or image.
  • Call Assist: Pixel Call Assist, which enables users to access call screen, direct my call, hold for me, clear calling, and more.
  • Live Translate: With this feature, you can easily break language barriers when making phone calls and sending messages with the live translation feature on Pixel 8a. It automatically translates voice calls, face-to-face conversations, and text messages into your preferred languages, so you can easily understand the person you’re talking to.
  • Audio Magic Eraser: It easily removes distracting noises from your videos – like wind, crowd and other noise – to deliver crisp and clear audio.
