Google Wallet allows to manage notification in 6 category

Google Wallet keeps getting new features and improvements every month through Google Play Services updates. Now, this is the latest change in the race of Google Wallet updates. According to the information, Google Wallet app now allows you to manage notification in 6 categories.

Now, when notifications are enabled in Google Wallet, users will find that the previous Notifications” section has been replaced with a link to System Preferences. The latest Android version of Google Wallet now offers six notification categories: Tips, Purchases, Passes, Transit, Updates and Alerts, and Promotions.

Google Wallet for Android has 6 notification categories:

  • Tips: Call for helpful info on how to nicely use Google Wallet.
  • Purchases: Check transaction details after you make a purchase.
  • Passes: Get updates on your events, flights, and other passes.
  • Transit: Stay up-to-date with your transit activity.
  • Updates & alerts: Get alerts about payment method issues, digital car keys, and more.
  • Promotional campaigns: Get the latest info about promotional campaigns and the associated rewards and progress.

In simple words, these categories cover information ranging from transaction details to promotional campaign updates. Additionally, with this change, transaction notifications from your handset will now appear on Wear OS as well.
