The latest Beta version of the Google app (v15.24.28.29) has evidence of the existence of a new Audio search button ability for Circle to Search. With the latest development, the Google app has a new button with an audio tune design next to the Translate Text button on the screen, as you can see in the screenshot below. This button is not enabled by default and the app researcher has to activate it manually.
The tipster speculates that this audio search feature will help identify sounds and music played on your device, as the icon symbolizes a musical note. Also, it can use audio content as additional context for searches.
