According to CIRP, Samsung has surpassed Apple in smartphone sales in the United States. To prepare the study reports Sales data from April 2023 through March 2024 were examined. Apple continues to dominate in terms of revenue generation, even though Samsung has taken the lead in smartphones.

CIRP research states that Apple makes more money even though it sells fewer handsets in the US than Samsung. The bulk of phones sold in the US are made by Apple, but Samsung surpasses it when it comes to the combined sales of its flagship, mid-range, and budget models.

Most of the sales of iPhones estimating 64% are categorized as “flagship models” by CIRP, compared to Samsung’s flagship model share of 42%, which is still a huge increase. CIRP also classifies The iPhone 15 series for Apple and any of the Galaxy S23, S24, Flip, or Fold for Samsung as flagships.

Next month, South Korean technology is expected to reveal new foldable phones. New features and specifications are available for the company’s Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6. Samsung is not necessarily going to see any major increase in sales from the foldable market.
