Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6‘s AMOLED cover screen may not be removed. An earlier leaked specs sheet listed an IPS cover display instead of AMOLED for Galaxy Z Flip 6. This raised serious concerns over Samsung’s decision to downplay its flagship phone in such a disappointing way.

By removing the AMOLED cover display from the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Samsung is not lowering its quality. According to SamMobile, the upcoming Flip phone from the firm would not include an IPS LCD. Instead, it is anticipated to have a panel with the same size and resolution as the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
The Z Flip 5 has a 60Hz refresh rate and a 3.4-inch folder-shaped cover display. There was earlier speculation that the cover panel might have a faster refresh rate, however, this doesn’t appear to be the case. It’s possible that Samsung saved this update for the next Flip phone.
The Flip phone of this year might include a brand-new 50-megapixel primary camera. Along with a bigger battery, the phone will feature a 4,000 mAh capacity, which is 300 mAh more than the Flip 5. All of the Z Flip 6 devices sold worldwide will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy.
