One of the biggest and most notable improvements in Android 14 is the ability to customize your lock screen. Google is testing enhancing the lock screen experience with Android 15 by moving the ‘At a Glance’ widget feature to the bottom of the screen. It lets you make some small but fundamental changes to your lock screen that can enhance its usability and aesthetics.

Recently, the company has released Android 15 beta 1.2 for Pixel devices with several fixes and improvements. Meanwhile, a report suggests that Google is testing the new Location ‘At a Glance’ feature, it is currently in the testing phase as it was spotted in Android 15 beta 1.2.
In other words, Google is testing a change in Android 15 that moves the At a Glance widget to the bottom of the lock screen near an under-display fingerprint sensor. For your information, the At a Glance widget is currently located near the top, just below the date.

However, since the change is still being refined, and there are indications that it may not be finalized this year, we can expect this change to arrive with the Android 15 QPR beta in the future. The move aims to improve the way users access their smartphones, making it easier for users to see and interact with their device notifications and shortcuts.
