It is expected that the Pixel 9 series will be out along with Android 15. With the release of the Android 15-second beta at Google I\O in May, users already have access to many key features. But it seems like Google already has some left in the stores, Android 15 features like Adaptive Touch, Even Dimmer, Adaptive Timeout, and Audio Sharing are not even available in the beta 3 update. Android 15 some exciting features

Adaptive Touch:

This mode automatically adjusts smartphone touch sensitivity based on factors like environment. To get the feature follow Settings > Display > Touch Sensitivity. This feature is intended for the Google Pixel 9 series, so there is a possibility that this can be made public by Google in the upcoming Made by Google 2024 hardware event on 13 August.

Even Dimmer:

This feature reduces the brightness even below the level called extra dim. It can be enabled through Setting > Accessibility, and it can be done manually according to the user’s will. It allows existing adaptive brightness features to go even below.

Adaptive Timeout:

Google quietly introduced this feature which is currently available on the Google Pixel 8 series and can be found by Setting > Display > Screen timeout.

This feature automatically turns off the screen if it is not in use. However, it utilizes the proximity sensor of the phone to check if there is anything nearby. If you like longer screen timeout but you keep on forgetting to lock the phone before keeping it pocket then this can be very useful for you.

Audio Sharing:

This Bluetooth audio-sharing feature which can be navigated by Setting > Connected devices > Connection Preferences > Audio sharing. Google added a new way to start an Auracast stream by using a button in the Bluetooth Quick Setting dialog.

Although it seems like minor updates there are a lot of changes, but unfortunately, not all of them are available right now as they might be kept secret for the event of the Google Pixel 9 series launch. We will keep you updated if digging out more information, till then stay tuned.
