Farewell: Samsung ends software update support for Galaxy A51, A41, and M01

Samsung has bid farewell to its software update support for Galaxy A51 5G, Galaxy A41, and Galaxy M01 devices. This means that these devices will no longer receive any One UI updates or security patches. So, this could be bad news for those who are still using the Galaxy A51 5G, Galaxy A41, and Galaxy M01 devices.

According to the information, Samsung yesterday shared a revised software support document for June 2024, which usually adds and removes devices. This time, the Korean tech giant has hardly added any new phones to the list, but it completely disappeared three mid-range devices, the Galaxy A51 5G, Galaxy A41, and Galaxy M01.

The company has confirmed that these devices launched between March and June in 2020 will no longer receive any more software updates. The Samsung Galaxy A51 5G got three major Android OS upgrades up to Android 13, while the Galaxy A41 and Galaxy M01 got two Android OS upgrades up to Android 12.
