Nothing Phone (2A) has started receiving NothingOS 2.5.5.a update. The Nothing OS 2.5.5.a update for Phone 2a brings ChatGPT integration in addition to camera enhancements and several other features.

Nothing took to their forums to announce the release of Nothing OS 2.5.5.a for the Nothing Phone 2A and the main feature here is ChatGPT integration. Similar to Phone 2 and Phone 1, this update includes the ChatGPT widget on the home screen, a gesture option to start a voice conversation in the NothingX app, and a button in the Clipboard/Screenshot pop-up to quickly paste the content into ChatGPT.
In terms of camera enhancements, this update optimizes color stability in the main wide-angle camera by adjusting white balance and color bias at low temperatures. It not only improved portrait brightness in HDR scenes by matching specific user skin tones but also improved the performance of opening the camera app by adjusting CPU scheduling strategies.
Additionally, this update brings several issue fixes in addition to fixing abnormal noise issues in Portrait mode by optimizing HDR composition strategies.

- Added a button on the screenshot and clipboard pop-up to directly paste content to a new conversation in ChatGPT.

- Improved fluidity when unlocking the device after being idle.
- Resolved an issue where the other party could not hear the caller when connecting to Android Auto.
