We are in the third month of 2024 and Samsung users are eagerly waiting for the One UI 6.1 update to arrive on their Galaxy devices. However, Samsung still hasn’t released the One UI 6.0 based on the Android 14 update for all eligible phones and tablets and the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 are one of them.
Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 smartphones received the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update in some countries and the company is now making it available in Europe. This time the update for Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 has been released with new features and a January 2024 security patch.
According to the information, the January 2024 security patch addresses 1 critical, 68 high, and 6 medium-level CVEs for the Android operating system. However, 1 CVE was fixed by a previous update from the company and 4 CVE is not relevant to Galaxy devices.
Based on Android 14, the One UI 6.0 update for Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 smartphones comes with One UI build version A525FXXU6EXB3 and A725FXXU6EXB3 in Europe. To install the update, users will have to download a software package of approximately 1 GB.
One UI 6.0 and Android 14 bring plenty of new features and improvements, including a redesigned Quick Panel, Lock Screen, My Files, Reminder, Calendar, Health, Video Player, Weather, Gallery, Camera, Home screen, and more. Android 14 will be the last major Android update for the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72, but it may get One UI 6.1 before its eligibility for OS and feature updates ends.
