Samsung has already released the April 2024 security update for Galaxy A53 devices, but it was limited to Europe. Now, along with the expansion, the device has started receiving the same update in the USA as well.

The Galaxy A53 is getting the April 2024 security update in the USA, with One UI version number A536U1UES8DXD7. It is currently live on AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Cellular South, Cricket, Comcast, Dish, MetroPCS, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile. The update is currently rolling out in some regions and will be available to all units in the coming days.
The April 2024 update for the Galaxy A series smartphones brings the latest security patch that offers a bunch of security enhancements that assure that your Galaxy device will remain safe from many external threats that can be dangerous. So if you are aware of your data, it is mandatory to keep the device updated.
According to SMR, the April 2024 update brings more than 40 improvements, with Google adding 27 (1 critical and 26 high) patches that will improve the security of the Android OS. Meanwhile, Samsung has also added 17 patches, which will bring more improvements, especially for One UI devices.
