Samsung launches its flagship Galaxy S24 series in January 2024 with 7 years of long-term support with Android upgrades and security patches. Now the company is preparing to launch its affordable Galaxy F series device Galaxy F15 5G with 4 years of Android updates.
According to Mukul Sharma, the Galaxy A15 will launch in late February or early March with three attractive color options Black, Purple, and Mint. Additionally, the device will get 4 major Android updates, which could be a game changer in the under Rs 15k segment.
The teaser shows the phone’s triple camera setup, a uniform layout element across most Samsung devices. However, apart from this, the teaser does not provide further information about its specifications and price.
The leak also suggests that the Galaxy F15 5G will have similar specs to the Galaxy A15 5G. So, we expect the Galaxy F15 to feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED FHD+ 90Hz display, a 13-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel triple camera setup.
In previous reports, the Galaxy F15 5G was also spotted on Geekbench with a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 6nm processor, Android 14, and more. So the phone may come with Android 14-based One UI 6.1 out of the box and eligible for four years of Android updates till Android 18 or whatever Google say in 2028.
