Samsung is rolling out the February 2024 security update for its Galaxy devices and the update has already been rolled out for several smartphones in the Galaxy S, Galaxy A, and Galaxy Z series. Now, the company has explained the latest February 2024 security update for the Galaxy Note 20 series in the US.

The update for these Galaxy Note devices was spotted in the US (available on Sprint and T-Mobile networks in the country) and is expected to be available in more countries in the next few days.

The February 2024 update for the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is now available for carrier-locked units with version number N98*USQS6HXA1. However, the Samsung February 2024 security patch is nothing more than a minor update that aims to bring some security-related improvements to Galaxy devices.

Going into SMR details, it includes the February 2024 security patch that fixes over 70 security vulnerabilities found in previous versions of the software. These security vulnerabilities include 61 fixes by Google for Android devices, while the rest of the fixes are added by Samsung specifically for Galaxy devices.
